Parthena was born on November 19th, 1777 in Charlton, Worcester, MA.1 Parthena's father was John Polley and her mother was Phebe Chamberlain. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Chamberlain and Phebe Vinton. She had a brother and two sisters, named Pliny, Rhoda and Phebe. She was the youngest of the four children.1 -
