Obadiah Phelps 
Obadiah was born on December 21st, 1759 in Hebron, CT.1 Obadiah's father was John Phelps and his mother was Deborah Dewey. His paternal grandparents were John Phelps and Anna Hosford; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Dewey and Abigail Hills. He had five brothers and a sister, named John Darius, Jared Darius, Norman, Nathan, Benjamin and Anne. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Normand, Nathan, Dudley, Desire and Sarah. He died at the age of 39 on June 10th, 1799.1 -
