John Phelps 
John was born on December 27th, 1672 in Westfield, Mass..1 John's father was Isaac Phelps and his mother was Ann Gaylord. His paternal grandparents were George Phelps and Phillury Randall; his maternal grandfather was William Gaylord. He had eight brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Isaac, Hezekiah, Joseph, Josiah, Daniel, Noah, Infant, Ebenezer, Sarah, Hannah, Hannah, Infant and Child. Captain John Phelps (born 12\21\1672?) settled in Westfield, Mass. He may have lived a short time in Great Barrington, Mass., when he was administrator of his brother Noah's estate.
Thankful (Hitchcock) Phelps married Daniel Cytson after the death of her husband, John Phelps. They were married July 17, 1750.
