Beriah Phelps

Beriah was born on January 2nd, 1759 in Hebron, Tolland, CT.¹ Beriah's father was Joshua Phelps and his mother was Hannah Tarbox. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Phelps and Mary Curtis; his maternal grandparents were Godfrey Tarbox and Hannah Laighton. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Ezekiel, Homer, Uzziel, Joshua, Abigail, Hannah, Clarissa, Arminda, Cynthia and Lydia.¹
