Abigail was born in 1667 in Salem.1   Abigail's father was John Phelps and her mother was Abigail Antrim.  Her paternal grandfather was Henry Phelps. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, Joseph, Samuel, Ann, Abigail and Hannah.2
