Martha Perley

Martha was born about 1674 in Boxford, Essex, Massachusetts.¹ Martha's father was John Perley and her mother was Mary Howlett. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Perley and Susana Bokenson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Howlett and Alice French. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, Thomas, Nathaniel, Issac, Jeremiah, Sarah, Mary and Alice. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.¹
