John Perley

John was born in 1668 in Boxford, Essex, Massachusetts.¹ John's father was John Perley and his mother was Mary Howlett. His paternal grandparents were Allen Perley and Susana Bokenson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Howlett and Alice French. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Nathaniel, Issac, Jeremiah, Sarah, Mary, Martha and Alice. He was the third oldest of the ten children.¹
