Annie Laura was born on August 18th, 1868 in Screven Co., GA.1 Annie Laura's father was Dempsey Peel and her mother was Ellender Sasser. Her maternal grandparents were Howell Sasser and Susan A. Bell. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Howell, John, Eleanor D., Susan A., Emma and Beuna A.. She died at the age of 81 on March 25th, 1950.1 General Notes
