Zelma was born on May 28th, 1912 in Screven Co., GA.1 Zelma's father was John Clinton Peavy and her mother was Ila Scott. Her paternal grandparents were William Marion Peavy and Eugenia Ellen Evans. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Edward Kinchley, John Clinton, Elliott, Bernice, Elise, Frances, Ila Winifred, Lois, Mertie Lou and Mildred. She died at the age of 71 on April 28th, 1984 in Screven Co., GA.1 General Notes
