John Clinton was born on May 12th, 1883 in Screven Co., GA.1 John Clinton's father was William Marion Peavy and his mother was Eugenia Ellen Evans. His paternal grandparents were Guilford Peavy and Dicey Moore. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William Walter, Lonny V., Claude Anderson, Dessie Eugene, Pearl, Mary Margaret, Daisy, Annie, Della Dean and Bertie Valerie. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on June 15th, 1957 in Screven Co., GA.1 -
