Bertie Valerie was born on January 6th, 1893 in Screven Co., GA.1 Bertie Valerie's father was William Marion Peavy and her mother was Eugenia Ellen Evans. Her paternal grandparents were Guilford Peavy and Dicey Moore. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William Walter, Lonny V., John Clinton, Claude Anderson, Dessie Eugene, Pearl, Mary Margaret, Daisy, Annie and Della Dean. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 96 on December 28th, 1989 in Screven Co., GA.1 -
