John Patterson

John was born in March 1860.¹ John's father was John L. Patterson and his mother was Celia Anne Mincey. His maternal grandparents were Abraham Mincey and Elizabeth Ann Moore. He had a brother and five sisters, named James Drury, Martha Anne, Rachel Annis, Harriet E., Ella Alice and Mary Magdalene. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Amelia Christina.¹
