Samuel was born in Springfield, Hampden, MA.1 Samuel's father was Joseph Parsons and his mother was Mary Bliss. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Bliss and Margaret Hulins. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Joseph, John, Ebenezer, Jonathan, David, Mary, Hannah, Abigail, Esther and Hester. He died on November 19th, 1734 in Durham, CT.1 General Notes
