George W. Parks

George W. was born on October 11th, 1834 in Novi Township, Oakland County, Michigan. George W.'s father was Samuel Henry Parks and his mother was Zilpha Butler. His paternal grandparents were Davis Parks and Catherine Coon; his maternal grandparents were John Butler and Betsey Brown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Orin Riley, William, Sydney, Edwin, Charles A., Lucinda and Marietta. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 61 on May 18th, 1896 in Fowler, Clinton County, Michigan.
