Walton M. was born on April 15th, 1861 in Screven Co., GA.1   Walton M.'s father was Henry Parker and his mother was Margaret Zeigler.  His paternal grandparents were James Parker and Elizabeth Sasser; his maternal grandparents were Solomon Zeigler and Charity Howard. He had four brothers and a sister, named John Tom, Solomon L., James H., George B. and Sarah L..  He was the second youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 72 on October 20th, 1933.1
