Grace was born in GUILFORD, CONN.¹ Grace's father was Thomas Norton and her mother was Grace Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Norton and Anne Hare. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, John, Anne, Grace, Mary and Abigail.¹
