Samuel was born on April 16th, 1897 in Oklahoma.1   Samuel's father was George Washington Neale and his mother was Orranah Deese. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George, Roma Preston, William Kice, Bruce, Shade, Lovvie Minnie, Bertha and Zimri.1
