Jane Betsey Mudge 
Jane Betsey was born on April 13th, 1834 in Wheatland, New York.1 Jane Betsey's father was John Mudge and her mother was Betsey Tenney. Her paternal grandparents were John Mudge and Sarah Chauncy. She had five brothers and nine sisters, named William Reuben, Samuel Tenney, Alfred Gray, James Munroe, Henry Finn, Harriett Atwood Newell, Fanny Woodbury, Elvira Agnes, Mary Ann, Caroline Lucinda, Cornelia E, Nancy Anna, Eunice and Emily Eugenia. She was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children.1 -
