Edward John Quincy was born on February 5th, 1861 in Tattnall County, GA.1 Edward John Quincy's father was William Nathaniel Moseley and his mother was Elizabeth Daniel. His paternal grandparents were Edmund W. Moseley and Barbara Monroe; his maternal grandparents were John Daniel and Pearcy Waters. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James C., William Claudius, Washington "Fid" Sylvester, Elmira P., Eliza Ann, Emma and Frances Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on February 22nd, 1940 in Tattnall County, GA.1 -
