Tobias Midboe 
Tobias was born on August 15th, 1878 in Hatton, North Dakota.1 Tobias' father was Ole Midboe and his mother was Maren Haugo. His paternal grandparents were Torger O. Midboe and Sigri Utabjaa. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Torger, Tollef, Halvor, Sigri, Sophia, Inger and Oline. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 on October 3rd, 1961.1 General Notes

Tobias farmed near Hatton from 1915 until 1945 when he moved with his family to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked for the American Optical Company. In 1952, he retired from active work after a misfortune of a fall. In 1955, he and his family moved to St. Paul.
