Hage Midboe 
Hage was born on August 8th, 1852 in Telemark, Norway.1 Hage's father was Torger O. Midboe and her mother was Sigri Utabjaa. Her maternal grandparents were Engeborg Haugo and Tarjei Unknown. She had five brothers and a sister, named Ole, Even, Ole, Carl, Aslag and Anne. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 62 on April 27th, 1915.1 General Notes

She came to America with her parents in 1859 in a sail boat. They lived first in Wisconsin and then moved to Worth Co., Iowa. In 1878, Osten and Hage came to Dakota with four of their children, Beata, Halvor, Tena and Sever.
