William Rufus Mew 
William Rufus was born on February 19th, 1867 in SC.1 William Rufus' father was John Rufus Mew and his mother was Mary Clementine Kirk. His paternal grandparents were John Pringle Mew and Emily Ann Smart; his maternal grandparents were Kirk and Mary Floyd. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Elliott Lewis, Clarence Olney, Annie Eulalia, Pauline Ladson, Leontine Gadson and Genevieve Beckenridge. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 66 in June 1933.1 -
