William Markham 
William was born about 1526 in of, Allerton, Nottinghamshire, England.1 William's father was John Markham and his mother was Anne Strelly. His paternal grandparents were John Markham and Alice Skipwith; his maternal grandparents were John Strelley and Sanchia Williughby. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Frances, Isabelle and Isabel. He was the third oldest of the five children.1 -
