Abigail Lovell

Abigail was born on May 3rd, 1761 in Rochester, Massachusetts.¹ Abigail's father was Levi Lovell and her mother was Susannah Bates. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Lovell and Desire Hatch; her maternal grandparents were John Bates and Abigail Blackwell. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Simeon, Reuben, Stephen, Desire and Thankful. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Susannah.¹
