Mary was born on April 22nd, 1683 in NC.1   Mary's father was Alexander Lillington and her mother was Sarah James.  Her paternal grandfather was George Lillington. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John Alexander, George, Ann, Elizabeth, Sarah and Sarah. She had two half-brothers named James and Alexander.1
