George was born on August 10th, 1693 in NC.1   George's father was Alexander Lillington and his mother was Sarah James.  His paternal grandfather was George Lillington. He had a brother and five sisters, named John Alexander, Ann, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Sarah. He had two half-brothers named James and Alexander.  He died at the age of 13 in 1706.1
