1   J Martin's father was Paul Smiser H Lee and his mother was Jane Martin.  His paternal grandparents were Stephen Lee and Dorathea Smiser. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Stephen States, Theodore B, William H, Francis a, John B, Eliza and Anna Maria. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hutson, Van and J Alison.1
