1   Eliza's father was Paul Smiser H Lee and her mother was Jane Martin.  Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Lee and Dorathea Smiser. She had six brothers and a sister, named Stephen States, Theodore B, William H, Francis a, J Martin, John B and Anna Maria. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hutson, Van and J Alison.1
