Allen D. Lechner 
Allen D. was born on November 8th, 1874 in Mineral City, Ohio.1 Allen D.'s father was Jeremiah Lechner and his mother was Caroline Weller. His paternal grandparents were Michael Lechner and Elizabeth Rider; his maternal grandparents were David Weller and Rosanna Heaur. He had two brothers and a sister, named David W., Phillip and Sarah. He was the youngest of the four children. He died due to heart Disease at the age of 55 on February 14th, 1930 in New Philadelphia, Ohio.1 General Notes

For many years Allen worked for he American Sheet and Tin Plate Company in New Philadelphia, Ohio and later he became self employed painter. He died at the age 56 at hi ome at 113 Seventh St., New Philadelphia after an eight month illness with heart disease.
