Samuel L. Kilby

Samuel L. was born about 1857 in NC.¹   Samuel L.'s father was Adam Kilby and his mother was Malinda Wilson.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Kilby and Mary Harmon. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Henry A., James N. P., Robert Pierce, Enos Virlin, Rixney, Rachel, Mary Malinda, Sarah Roxana, Elizabeth and Lucinda.  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.¹
