Henry A. Kilby 
Henry A. was born in March 1839 in NC.1 Henry A.'s father was Adam Kilby and his mother was Malinda Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Henry Kilby and Mary Harmon. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James N. P., Robert Pierce, Samuel L., Enos Virlin, Rixney, Rachel, Mary Malinda, Sarah Roxana, Elizabeth and Lucinda. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 in July 1917 in Rabun Co., GA.1 General Notes

farm laborer, born in NC. 1880 Census of Rabun Co. family 209/217 lists his age
as 40 with new wife Mary E. age 45. 1900 census Rabun Co. lists Henry & Mary in
Persimmon Dist., they state they had been married 29 yrs. and Mary had 1 child.
!Pension:H.A. Kilby is listed on the Rabun Co. Pension Roll for Confederate
Veterans. Not clear if he received a pension as no outfit is listed. His death
date was noted as July 1917.
!Voter:H.A. Kilby is listed on Voters Oath for Rabun Co., Persimmon Dist. list,
on 20 Dec 1913 as age 74. He is listed as a farmer and a soldier.
