Rufus F. was born in June 1875 in Rabun Co., GA.1 Rufus F.'s father was Henry A. Kilby and his mother was Margarette E. Woods. His paternal grandparents were Adam Kilby and Malinda Wilson. He had two brothers named Samuel L. and Adam John Lee. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Lousia. He died after January 1928 in Rabun Co., GA.1 General Notes
