Samuel Kemp

Samuel was born on December 24th, 1797 in Carleton Rode, Norf., Eng. and his baptism took place on May 3rd, 1804 in Carleton Rode, Norfolk, England.¹ Samuel's father was Henry Kemp and his mother was Phoebe Bird. His paternal grandparents were Richard Kemp and Elisabeth Rogers. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Daniel, Richard, Henry, John, Mary, Sarah and Phoebe.¹
