John Kemp 
John was born in Carleton Rode, Norf., Eng. and his baptism took place on July 21st, 1793 in Carleton Rode, Norfolk, England.1 John's father was Henry Kemp and his mother was Phoebe Bird. His paternal grandparents were Richard Kemp and Elisabeth Rogers. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Daniel, Samuel, Richard, Henry, Mary, Sarah and Phoebe. He died in March 1860.1 -
