John Edgar Jones

John Edgar was born on February 29th, 1868 in Iowa.¹ John Edgar's father was William Jones and his mother was Sarah Carpenter. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jones and Mary Ann Vaughn; his maternal grandparents were Adna J. Carpenter and Melinda Huyck. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Adna Thomas, Truman William, Annie, Mary Ann and Sarah Lillian. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died about 1940.¹
