Melinda Huyck 
Melinda was born about 1816 in New York.1 Melinda's father was Henry Huyck and her mother was Catherine Teed. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Huyck and Susanna Clauw. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Richard T., John T., William, Isaac, Henry, Saunders M., Samuel T., Mary and Catherine. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died about 1898 in Sumner, Kansas.1 General Notes
