Samantha C. Johnson 
Samantha C. was born about 1849.1 Samantha C.'s father was Francis John F. Johnson and her mother was Elizabeth B. Townsend. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Roderick Townsend and Nancy Permelia Dean. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named William James G., Asa, Francis Marion, John A., Light S., Charles Walker, Alfred W., Ann Pamelia, Carpalona E. C. and Nancy E.. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.1 -
