William Alexander Jobe

William Alexander was born on July 9th, 1862.¹ William Alexander's father was James Emsley Job and his mother was Mary Catherine Isley. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Job and Esther Whitt; his maternal grandparents were Levi Isley and Sarah Sharp. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Levi Jonathan, Henry M., James Benjamin Franklin, Sarah Elizabeth, Eliza A., Martha Ellen, Barbara Catherine and Jemima E.. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 55 on May 26th, 1918.¹
