Bostian was born on March 30th, 1768.1   Bostian's father was Isaac Sharp and his mother was Philpehia. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Christian, John, Elizabeth and Philipena.  He died at the age of 73 on October 22nd, 1841.1
