George Miles' father was William Jeffers and his mother was Ella Boyett. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Boyett and Matilda Holland. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Henry Austin, W. A., William Lester, Carneta, Edna Lois, Ella Matilda, Evie Lee, Geneva, Ollie Kate, Pearl and Vivian Gertrude.-
