William James 
William was born in 1833.1 William's father was John James and his mother was Malinda Welch. His maternal grandparents were Osias Welch and Elizabeth Rowland. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George W., Isaac S., Mary E., Francis M., Eliza Jane, Sarah A. and Malinda. He was the oldest of the eight children.1 -
