Norman Gilchrist James 
Norman Gilchrist was born on October 18th, 1874 in Haynesville, Ala..1 Norman Gilchrist's father was Elliot Lindsay James and his mother was Theresa Anne Gilchrist. His paternal grandparents were Lorenzo James and Eliza Ann Wortham Scott; his maternal grandparents were Archibald McKay Gilchrist and Margaret Davidson Mushat. He had three brothers and a sister, named Lorenzo, Elliot Lindsay, John Patrick and Katherine Margaret. He was the oldest of the five children.1 -
