Edna E. was born on April 12th, 1858 in Irasburg, VT.1   Edna E.'s father was John Huntington and her mother was Maria Metcalf. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named Dana John, Charles, Ella Jane, Myra E., Mary A., Sarah Maria, Lydia, Emma A., Ida May and Anna.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.1
