Samuel Hough

Samuel was born in 1685 in New London, New London, Connecticut.¹ Samuel's father was William Hough and his mother was Anne Lathrop. His paternal grandparents were William Hough and Sarah Caulkins; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Lothrop and Elizabeth Scudder. He had a brother and six sisters, named William, Hannah (Ann), Elizabeth, Abigail, Sarah, Martha and Child. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.¹
