Lucena Hosford

Lucena was born in 1801 in Thetford, Vermont.¹ Lucena's father was Elihu Hosford and her mother was Mary Marble. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hosford and Eunice Beach. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Jared, William, Ralph, Abigail, Mary, Lydia and Arethusa. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Elihu, Abigail and Anna. She died at the age of 49 in 1850.¹
