Susannah Holmes 
Susannah was born about 1682 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1 Susannah's father was John Holmes and her mother was Mary Sayles. Her paternal grandparents were Obadiah Holmes and Katherine Hyde; her maternal grandparents were John Sayles and Mary Williams. She had a brother and five sisters, named William, Ann, Mary, Frances, Deborah and Phebe. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died on April 7th, 1726 in Groton, New London, Connecticut.1 -
