Sallie Ann Jane was born on September 15th, 1895.1 Sallie Ann Jane's father was Dempsey Daniel Holland and her mother was Martha Jernigan. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis Holland and Caroline Sapp; her maternal grandparents were Jesse Jernigan and Martha Underwood Holland. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Melvin R., William Lewis, Jack J., Henry, Lonnie, Penny Addie R., Tempie Theta Linda and Nancy Ann America "Mack".1 -
