Phineas Holcomb 
Phineas was born in Simsbury, CT.1 Phineas' father was Joshua Holcomb and his mother was Mary B. Hoskins. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Holcombe and Ruth Sherwood; his maternal grandparents were Robert Hoskins and Mary Gillet. He had four brothers and four sisters, named David, Joel, Robert, Joab, Hannah, Marcy, Miriam and Miriam. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Caleb, Joshua, Moses, Mathew, Eleanor, Experience and Thankful. He died in 1781.2 -
