Samuel was born on May 23rd, 1716.1   Samuel's father was Thomas Hill and his mother was Elizabeth Zenembeer.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hill and Martha. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Rachel. He had three half-brothers named William, Simeon and Thomas.1
