George was born in 1721.1   George's father was John Hiett and his mother was Margaret Stephens.  His paternal grandparents were John Hiett and Mary Smith. He had nine brothers and eight sisters, named John, Joseph, William, Evan, James, Jonathon, Timothy, Ebon, Evan, Catherine, Margaret, Ann, Sarah, Ruth, Martha, Phebe and Mary.  He died in Rowan Co, NC.1
